Happy Easter Sunday!

Today is Easter Sunday! The sun is out, the rain has stopped, and the birds are singing outside our backyard. Let us be reminded the resurrection of Jesus Christ on this day.

Last week a friend came back from her Taiwan vacation and brought back some really delicious cakes and candies to share with me. I love the mung bean cake with red bean, it's my favorite! Also the pineapple cake was really delicious, inside it has little chunks of pineapple. I just love Taiwan, the people there are very friendly and nice and the food in the night markets are absolutely delicious! I can't wait to go visit Taiwan again!

Time to get ready and get something to eat. Wishing everyone a wonderful Easter Sunday!

Shopping...

Today is Sunday, I decided to take a walk from Embarcadero to Downtown and take some pictures. My intention was just to take a walk and shoot some photos and not shop for anything, because recently I already brought enough online. However, as always my weakness is self control towards shopping. I tell myself I won't buy anything, but when I see all the sales, how can I resist? I brought a T-shirt and a sweater from Banana Republic because it's on sale and on top of that there is an additional 30% off sale items!!! Sweet! Then I went to Abercrombie & Fitch (one of my favorite store) and saw a really cute jacket and it was my size, on sale, and it's the only one left, so I had to get it! Afterwards I swing by Bloomingdales and Lancome has a gift with purchase promotion, so I end up buying something from there too. I also spotted a handbag from Nordstrom, but it was too expensive, so I have to think it through first. The purse would make a really good everyday wear to work kind of purse. I'll put that to my wish list. ^__^

This past two weeks has been pretty stressful at work, but I am so happy to have really good coworkers that make me feel a little better. One day I went into work and my coworker gave me a lemon for tea, then another day my coworker brought a cookie to share with me and another day my coworker has left four masks on my desk. I am so touched by my coworkers' gestures! I could really make use of the masks, because my face has so many break outs. I think it's either from the food I ate or just stress from work. I'm going to put on a mask tonight and relax a bit. Life sometimes gets stressful, but God always put some good friends and coworkers to bring some sweetness to my life!

Tomorrow is Monday, wishing everyone a good week ahead!

Movie...

Yesterday I had the chance to go catch a movie with a friend. It has been a long while since I been to the theaters. We watched "Oz The Great And Powerful", it's a very good movie, I love it, very pretty graphics! Then finally had the chance to go to Ramen Dojo to try out their ramen. Indeed it was good! ^__^ I had the pork flavor soup base and added extra corn and napa cabbage. Yummy!

This weekend finally finished watching the Korean Drama "Reply 1997". At first I watched one episode and didn't think it was that good, so stopped watching it, until one day my friend highly recommend it and suggest we watch it together and it got really interesting and funny after the first episode for me. I enjoyed watching the drama and now it's on my favorite list of Korean dramas. I reminds of a saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover".

This morning I went to the the backyard and see that the daffodil has finally bloom and there is a pomelo on our pomelo tree, so happy! ^___^  I can't wait for the pomelo to grow a little bigger and try it!

Spring...

Today I walked to our backyard and see that there are flowers blooming. Every morning and night hearing the birds singing. Yesterday is the start of daylight saving time! I'm so happy because at 7 pm at night, it'll still be bright. The day would be longer. ^__^

On Friday I had dinner with a friend and learnt something from her, she said she had to say "No" to her team mate when he asked her to drive him somewhere. My friend knows perfectly well that she is not suppose to drive someone under age 21 and the consequences if she is being caught. I think to myself, yeah there are times my friend ask me something that I don't really want to do, but it's just so hard to say "No" to a friend. Therefore sometimes I regret for what I promise. I think I have to learn how to say "No" to my friends and hope that they will understand.

Since the flowers are blooming so pretty right now, here are some pictures I took:

Saturday...

Today is a very productive day for me, I got up early to do my laundry and then meet up with a friend for lunch and to go take pictures. The food was good, we had noodles with meat sauce and chicken mushroom rice with a sweet soy sauce on the side.

After lunch we went to walk around Golden Gate park to take pictures. My friend was nice enough to explain the use of the iso, aperature and shutter speed and how to apply it. It sure makes more sense after she explain it to me. She also took pictures to demonstrate, which make it even more clear. I gain more knowledge after talking to her and thankful that she had the time and willingness to share it with me. ^__^  Here are some pictures I took today:
